We met with Steven from Kickapoo Roofing in April 2024. He asked us if we were aware of any issues with our roof – which we were. He did a visual inspection of the roof and looked at ceilings in the interior of our house. The crew completed the roofing project in one long day. The crew worked well together, were respectful of property, and did a magnificent job in cleaning up after they were done. Steven and several other managers/supervisors stopped by throughout the day to check on the progress. We also had Kickapoo Roofing redo our siding on the house in August 2024. A different crew worked on this project. They also worked well together, were respectful of property and did a thorough job in the cleanup. Again – several managers/supervisors stopped out throughout the two-day project. We were kept up to date on both projects with start dates. They had plenty of options available to choose from for both shingles and siding. Jamie, Adm. Asst, was very pleasant and provided us with receipts upon payment of invoices. Only person able to come out and do a temp fix on our roof same day. We figured a tarp would be needed but he found the source, tarred it, and it saved us a lot more damage. During all of this he was extremely helpful and informative of all the processes we needed to go through which was extra helpful as a first year first time home owner.

Melvin Hershberger walked us through the whole insurance claim process start to finish and was there every step of the way explaining each phase, what our timelines were, and what to expect. Mervin, the onsite Project Manager, was present during the whole roofing phase, and made sure everything was done to the highest standards. Kickapoo Roofing did a great job and I cannot recommend them enough. The entire team was extremely professional - from the front office, to the on the ground rep, to the crew that did the repair. They’re an honest company too - I got a few bucks back after the job was complete due to them doing less work than was expected with the initial estimate. I hope I don’t need a roofing company again any time soon, but if I do I’m definitely going back to Kickapoo. Highly recommend.

I highly recommend Kickapoo Roofing! I had my new roof installed yesterday, and the installers did a great job! Melvin came out and inspected my roof originally. He was professional and courteous. I also had the opportunity to meet Edwin which meant a lot. Leroy had been in constant contact with me so I never felt like I didn’t know what was happening. Communication is so important! Mervin and his installers showed up early yesterday morning and started working right away. They worked hard all day and got my roof done! Melvin checked on things too throughout the day. The crew cleaned up afterwords and also came back this morning to double check the yard. Mervin came back as well to do a final inspection of the job. Truly Professional! We had roof damage from a large oak. I called and left a message and within 30min Melvin called back and quickly scheduled an initial appointment. We were having some issues with a leak in our roof, and Melvin came the day of to help us figure out what the issue was. He later ended up coming back out again as soon as the snow had melted and fixed up the leak for us along with another spot on the roof he noticed was popped up. Getting my roof fixed was quick and easy. Due to weather, my scheduled repair date needed to be changed, but I was kept updated every step of the way.

Kickapoo Roofing installed a new roof for my cabin the summer of 2023. They did an excellent job - it looks great, and additionally used heavy duty matching gutters that even had folding downspouts! They used quality Malarkey shingles and left no mess at all. One couldn't even tell they were there except for the beautiful new roof. A true gem of an organization in today's home services industry! Professional and responsive to my calls. Even checked back with me to see if I had questions and received the information I requested (work had been crazy). Previously I had several companies tell me they couldn't help me but my dining area continued to have a leak at the ceiling. Kickapoo came in, diagnosed what was wrong, and gave me 2 options for fixing the situation. One was replacing the entire roof which was only 4 years old. My concern was if I invest in a new roof, what happens if it continues to leak, and I was told they would come back and do whatever it took if the situation continued but they were confident it would take care of the problem. We read reviews and took a leap of faith on replacing the entire roof, and it did take care of the problem! Kickapoo documented the damage and all repairs made. Now we have something to prove to future buyers that there was a problem but it was fixed. Very professional and working with Steve was a pleasure. They removed the roof, replaced damage pieces and we had a new roof by the end of the same day. Everything was picked up, no loose shingles or debris. Go with these guys, don't bother with the others, even those maybe "more recognized" in La Crosse area. You won't be sorry like I was with my original roofer.

Once the paperwork was done, I paid my initial amount for stick. They came out on the agreed upon date and were done in a day with the shingles. The gutters and gutter covers were done thereafter very quickly. The roof looks great, the people were awesome.

We found out we need our whole roof replaced and so we went to work finding a roofing company. We got quotes from 4 different roofing companies in the Sparta/Tomah area and Kickapoo roofing was by far the easiest to work with and the most responsive. The quote they gave us was a very reasonable price and they provided it very quickly. We worked with Ray and he was easy to get a hold of, knowledgeable, and professional. He even showed up when our insurance guy came by to evaluate the roof's condition and made sure he saw everything we needed fixed.Our new roof looks great and the installation went very smooth. This company is excellent. Communication was excellent. Everything went as planned and it only took 2 days for an enormous roof! Jaden was easy to get ahold of and he was on site to ensure everything went as planned.

Kickapoo Roofing is a professional company with excellent customer service. A few weeks before our new Roof was to be installed, our old Roof began leaking and Jaden promptly came out to check our Roof and Attic. We decided not to do a temporary patch since our Roof was scheduled to be replaced in a few days, however, we were then rained out for another week so Jaden and KR crew came and tarped section of Roof until the new Roof could be installed. We just had the new Roof installed and all of the work was done in one day. Instead of having a few people here every day for several days; there was a very efficient crew of 12 that completed it all in one day. Jaden’s accessibility and responsiveness before, during, and after the new Roof install is much appreciated.

These guys are so easy to work with! They came out and did the estimate and then showed us a mockup of what the house would look like with different shingles. Raymond was so helpful through the whole process. When the day came to start the job I had messed up with the insulation contractors and Raymond made sure that all the additional work would get done, even though they didn't plan to do that additional work! My roof has a tricky spot where there had been water leaking through & Ray's expertise fixed that problem and no more leaks! Top notch team, the job got done so quickly (even with my hiccup) the clean up was done well. Can't say enough great things about Ray and the job they did! 10/10

We had a wind storm come through and ruin the siding on our home. After failed attempts with our insurance and lack of interest shown by a different company, Ray and his crew at Kickapoo Roofing were recommended to us. From the very start they took the stress of dealing with insurance off of our hands, kept us in the loop of everything going on, and were responsive to all of our questions and concerns. That was only the beginning. What I saw after that as they worked on our home was a new standard of professionalism that I hadn’t seen out of another company before. Noticed some leaking on the outside of our log cabin... went up on the roof and found the culprit, wind damage what had caused damage to the roof. Did my research and contacted Kickapoo Roofing. Their project manager Ray Hochstetler did not hesitate and checked my roof the next day. He even repaired it to get us through until they were able to replace it 3 weeks later. Needless to say Ray and his crew did an outstanding job!!! In today's world of not following through, Kickapoo Roofing delivered. Like my Uncle Gus said, "you get what you pay for."

I called for an estimate, had someone on my roof less than 24 hours later and a comprehensive estimate in hand within a few days. My insurance adjuster found their estimate to be well within line and fairly priced. The job was scheduled, they showed up on time and had my roof torn off and replaced in a matter of 5 hours. Very responsive job site manager and a super polite crew. They went to great lengths to address an especially tricky problem with a roof vent to assure it would remain water tight. They even shop vacuumed the area between the joists and plywood when they tore off rotted sheets! The property was thoroughly cleaned up of all debris before they left. I was super impressed with the professionalism, efficiency and quality of work & service. In an area that lacks reliable, quality tradespeople, Kickapoo Roofing is a rare find.

Kickapoo Roofing is an excellent company. Ray Hochstetter conducted a documented detailed inspection resulting in a comprehensive estimate for replacing the roofs on our buildings, which were in turn fully accepted by our Homeowners Insurance Company’s claims department. Their work crews are excellent tradesmen dedicated to performing first class workmanship. The process’s performed to totally remove and reinstall both roofs left no debris in our yard, because they were constantly cleaning up and rechecking as they completed each section of the two buildings. When all of the work was completed, Ray came back the next day and inspected all of the slopes, valleys, and flashings plus walked around the yard looking for construction debris - there was no debris! Kickapoo Roofing is truly a 10 star company. I highly recommend them.

I couldn't speak more highly of Edwin and his team at Kickapoo Roofing. Its difficult to locate reputable, professional, and competent roofing contractors, but Kickapoo is all of those things. They were also very helpful in working with the insurance company to make sure my replacement shingles were of the same quality that were originally on the home. Extraordinarily responsive to all my questions (and I had many) and highly effective at addressing any potential issues. Better yet, their installation process is simply genius in comparison to other contractors - they are thoughtful and efficient which allows the work to be done quickly and correctly - even other neighbors were impressed. Truthfully, I'm fussy about hiring contractors and hardly ever write reviews but Kickapoo was a notch above all the others who estimated my job. If you have roofing issues - start with them, you won't be disappointed.

We recently received damage to our roof from the December wind storm. I contacted one roofing company, and wasn't too satisfied with how they assessed the damage, so then I contacted Kickapoo Roofing in Tomah, WI. From the very start of talking to Ray Hochstetler, I was very pleased and impressed with the professionalism he displayed over the phone, as well as how quickly he was able to assess the damage. His brother Andy with his previous insurance adjustment background did an excellent job knowing what to look for and had all of the right tools to put together a very detailed report to show the damage to my insurance company. Both Ray and Andy were prepared to assist in proving the amount of damage my roof sustained due to the storm. They even made themselves available when the insurance adjuster had come out so they could further explain and answer any questions. It was easy to determine from the very beginning that I wanted to go with Kickapoo Roofing and was very confident they would take care of us during this entire process.Once approved by the insurance company, Leroy Hochstetler did an excellent job in keeping us informed on when the materials would be delivered and the crew would be available to start the job.I would say I have an above average size roof, with a couple dormers, steep pitch, with various peaks, and skylights. Keith and Ray assisted with repairing some vent pipes in the attic that protrude through the roof. The crew had come out and were all very efficient and hard workers. They had worked from 7am to 9pm on the house and had gotten the old shingles tore off, new roof installed, and ground cleaned up on the first day, and then finished my 3 car garage the second day. The crew even went above and beyond to make sure my belongings on the ground were protected, and even assisted by cutting down a fallen tree branch due to the newest storm in the area. I was shocked that a crew could complete this large of a job in approximately 1.5 days!I realize this is a long review, but I cannot say enough about how great this company is, and how very impressed I am with how the entire crew performed. I am very happy with how the roof turned out, and how great it looks. I would recommend Kickapoo Roofing to anyone needing a new roof or roof repairs! Came an put a patch on in December from storm damage. The roof is a 12 12 pitch and 40 ft at the peak. They completed the work very fast and were constantly cleaning. Ray helped me understand and work through the insurance process. I couldn't be happier with the work.Service: Roof installation

I couldn't speak more highly of Edwin and his team at Kickapoo Roofing. Its difficult to locate reputable, professional, and competent roofing contractors, but Kickapoo is all of those things. They were also very helpful in working with the insurance company to make sure my replacement shingles were of the same quality that were originally on the home. Extraordinarily responsive to all my questions (and I had many) and highly effective at addressing any potential issues. Better yet, their installation process is simply genius in comparison to other contractors - they are thoughtful and efficient which allows the work to be done quickly and correctly - even other neighbors were impressed. Truthfully, I'm fussy about hiring contractors and hardly ever write reviews but Kickapoo was a notch above all the others who estimated my job. This is a Great Business to work with. You can call or text them and they respond back within a very short amount of time. We were in need of a roof and the company was there by 7 a.m. laid a tarp around the house, for cleanup, then asked if we needed to get the car out of the garage before they started work, they were cleaned up and gone by 4:30. It is with great pleasure and satisfaction that I share with you my experiences with Kickapoo (Edwin, Jerry and Andy Yoder) concerning the siding work they did at our Lakehouse.I have worked with at least 40 contractors over my lifetime in various trades and can say without a doubt that these gentleman are the best of the 40, a pleasure to work...the quality of the work is unbelievable (and I am a challenge to please), they are fair and dependable (almost unheard of today in the trades). Edwin ,Jerry and Andy are extremely knowledgeable proper construction techniques, codes and manufacturers installation guidelines. Very professional, fair and honest. He offered several variations of the project for our consideration. Once the estimate was set, there were no add-ons to change the price. A new roof was put on my father's house and I coordinated most of this project long-distance. It was a positive experience from beginning to end. Edwin was wonderful to work with, so responsive, professional, and accommodating. Leroy was on-site and great to work with as well, providing updates on the progress until completion. Kickapoo Roofing employees were very professional and efficient in replacing our roofing with Malarkey Legacy hail resistant shingles.The lines of communications were always open and responsive with helping us to resolve conflicts with our insurer and construction schedules in going forward.
